
| About Jingu Bunko Jingu Bunko is the library of Ise Jingu. Dating back 350 years to the two facilities of Toyomiyazaki Bunko and Hayashizaki Bunko, the library is an institution for Shinto priests to study the tradition of the Jingu. Currently, it stores about 260,000 volumes, featuring books of Shinto religion and classics about Ise Jingu. The collecion is available to people in general, but mostly to researchers in the respective fields. |

| Black Gate (Kuromon) The big gate made of zelkhova wood standing along the Miyuki street is known to people as "The black gate at Jingu Bunko". It was built in 1780 as the gate for the house of the priestly family of Fukushima Misakidayu who was active in the Edo Period. |
